Directions: Pick the ones that work for you and vigorously repeat them daily.


Unconditional Self-Esteem (USE)

I may have acted like a louse, but that cannot make me a louse.

I may have acted stupid, but that cannot make all of me stupid.

I may have been treated as an inferior, but that cannot make me an inferior.

I may have been treated like I was defective, but that cannot make me defective.

I may have been treated like I was worthless, but that cannot make me worthless.

I may have thought and felt bad, but that cannot make me bad.

I may have worthless things, but that cannot make me worthless.

I may not be part of that group, but that cannot make me unfit for any group.

I may own junk, but that cannot make me junk.


Unconditional Other-Esteem (UOE)

They may have acted like a louse, but that cannot make them lousy.

They may have acted like I was worthless, but that cannot make them of no value.

They may have given or sold me something worthless, but that cannot make them worthless.

They may have kept me out of the group, but that does not mean they are unfit for any group.

They may have sold or given me junk, but that cannot make them junk.

They may have thought and felt bad, but that cannot make them bad.

They may have treated me like I was defective, but that cannot make them defective.

They may have treated me like I was inferior, but that cannot make them inferior.

They may have treated me like I was stupid, but that cannot make them stupid.


Unconditional Life-Esteem (ULE)

Life may appear to exclude me from many things, but life cannot exclude me from everything.

Life may have given me junk, but that cannot make all of life junk.

Life may have given me worthless things, but that cannot make all of life worthless.

Life may have treated me bad, but that cannot make all of life bad.

Life may have treated me like I was defective, but that cannot make all of life bad.

Life may have treated me like I was inferior, but that cannot make all of life inferior.

Life may have treated me like I was stupid, but that cannot make all of life stupid.

Life may have treated me like I was worthless but that cannot make life worthless.

Life may have treated me lousy, but that cannot make all of life lousy.


Unconditional Ability-Esteem (UAE)

My abilities may be poor in certain areas, but I can work and enjoy myself in other areas.

My abilities may not always get me the best, but that cannot make all of my abilities lousy.

My abilities may not be the best, but that cannot make all of my abilities bad.

My aptitude may not be great for everything, but my aptitude is good for many things.

My skills may not be inferior to some others, but that cannot make all of my abilities inferior.

My skills may sometimes even be worthless, but that cannot make all of my skills worthless.

My talents may not always be up to the task at hand, but that cannot make me stupid.

My talents may not be as good as another's, but that does not make my talents worthless.

My talents may not be the best, but that does not mean that I am defective.
