2012-02-05 The best way to sing a song is not to sing at all. The best way to write is to have nothing to do with writing. The best way to paint a picture is to be absent the whole time. The best way to play music is not to be there when it is played. The best way to perform in sports is to miss being at the game. 2012-02-04 If you want to fail, then you will find excuses why you will. If you want to fail, then you will find reasons why you must. If you want to fail, then you will find obstacles and problems to blame. If you want to fail, then you will find others to blame and damn for your failure. If you want to fail, then you will find enemies and circumstances too powerful to overcome. 2012-02-03 If you want to find fault, then you will. If you want to find reasons, then you will. If you want to find excuses, then you will. If you want to find enemies, then you will. If you want to find difficulties, then you will. 2012-02-02 Thinking does nothing by itself. Thinking does nothing for itself. Thinking does nothing with itself. Thinking does nothing, not even itself. Thinking does nothing because of itself. 2012-02-01 Thinking cannot be anything, not even itself. Thinking cannot do anything, not even itself. Thinking cannot know anything, not even itself. Thinking cannot control anything, not even itself. Thinking cannot change anything, not even itself. 2012-01-31 If you are going to hate another person, then you first must hate yourself as them. If you are going to judge another person, then you first must judge yourself as them. If you are going to damn another person, then you first must damn yourself as them. If you are going to criticize another person, then you first must create yourself as that criticism. Whenever you despise another, you make yourself into an ugly voodoo-doll that you stick pins and needles into. 2012-01-30 Do you live for God or self? Do you live for God or others? Do you live for God or appearances? Do you live for God or ego and pride? Do you live for God or fame and fortune? 2012-01-29 Do you live for life or things? Do you live for life or thoughts? Do you live for life or security? Do you live for life or possessions? Do you live for life or accumulations? 2012-01-28 Do you live for self or ego? Do you live for self or opinion? Do you live for self or self-talk? Do you live for self or approval? Do you live for self or appearance? 2012-01-27 Only people who care for themselves can care for you. Only people who are kind to themselves can be kind to you. Only people who have self-respect can show you self-respect. Only people who think well of themselves can think well of you. Only people who nurture and motivate themselves can nurture and motivate you. 2012-01-26 Take an energy reading to see if that feeling is integrative or disintegrative. Take an energy reading to see if that thought is integrative or disintegrative. Take an energy reading to see if that attitude is integrative or disintegrative. Take an energy reading to see if that behavior is integrative or disintegrative. Take an energy reading to see if that response is integrative or disintegrative. 2012-01-25 Do you believe in your options or traps? Do you believe in your skills or handicaps? Do you believe in your successes or failures? Do you believe in your solutions or problems? Do you believe in your advantages or disadvantages? 2012-01-24 We are all floating in three-dimensional levels of cycles and circles. Your cycles and circles are interactive and mutually determining. It is easier to see the cycles and circles of others when you are not in them. To be calm and in a state of flow is to be at peace with your cycles and circles. Whatever cycle or circle you are in, there are bigger ones around it and smaller ones within it. 2012-01-23 People treat family the worst, because people despise themselves and family are themselves. People fall out of love after marriage, because people despise themselves and their spouse becomes themselves. People cannot recognize greatness in their own family, because people despise themselves and family are themselves. People cannot recognize greatness in their own community, because people despise themselves and their community is themselves. People are bad managers, bosses, leaders, parents, and coaches, because people despise themselves and their underlings become themselves. 2012-01-22 The nature of a thought cannot be changed or controlled. A negative thought will always be negative. A positive thought will always be positive. All thoughts retain their original nature, and what passes for a change in thought is only a derivative or variation. You are free to switch thoughts, but you have no power or authority to convert thoughts. 2012-01-21 No thought can be another thought. No thought can speak for another thought. No thought can be controlled to act like another thought. No thought can change, develop, become, or transform into another thought. There is no method, way, path, or practice to make one thought into another thought. 2012-01-20 What is the energy of that way of thinking? What is the experience of that way of thinking? What is the name of that way of thinking? The result of any way of thinking is itself. The purpose of any way of thinking is itself. 2012-01-19 Would you want your child to know you did that? If not, then don't do it. Would you want your boss or minister to know you did that? If not, then don't do it. Would you want your friends and family to know you did that? If not, then don't do it. Would you want that posted on your Google+ or Facebook page? If not, then don't do it. Would you want that made public on the front page of the newspaper? If not, then don't do it. 2012-01-18 Thinking and sensations have no psychological effects. Thinking can point to, lead to, and remember psychological effects. When you sense things or thoughts, then you have sensations of them. Psychological effects are only caused by sensations of sensations, by sensing sensations. Feelings are sensations of sensations, and feelings are caused by sensing other sensations with the heart or life force. 2012-01-17 Do you rely on past or now? Do you rely on form or water? Do you rely on things or spirit? Do you rely on thinking or power? Do you rely on methods or energy? 2012-01-16 A "not" with power is a parasite. A "not" should never have power. A "not" with power only feeds itself. A "not" with power claims to exist to end something else, but only maintains itself. A "not" with power distracts you with something wrong that should not be while continuing itself which should not be. 2012-01-15 What was, but not what was not. What is, but not what is not. What will be, but not what won't be. Focus on what happened, not on what did not happen. Focus on what is happening, not on what is not happening. 2012-01-14 Mind for marking, not skill. Mind for marking, not learning. Mind for marking, not practicing. Mind for marking, not understanding. Mind for marking, not insight, intuition, or wisdom. 2012-01-14 Mind for marking, not skill. Mind for marking, not learning. Mind for marking, not practicing. Mind for marking, not understanding. Mind for marking, not insight, intuition, or wisdom. 2012-01-13 Mind for marking, not doing. Mind for marking, not being. Mind for marking, not sensing. Mind for marking, not knowing. Mind for marking, not following. 2012-01-12 Mind marks. Mind is not the mark. Mind serves the mark. Mind cannot go beyond the mark. Mind cannot share more than the mark. 2012-01-11 Why are your payoffs for "nots"? Do you serve "nots" more than "what is"? Do you focus on "nots" more than on "what is"? If you are disturbed by anything, then look for your "nots". What are your consequences for giving your time and attention to "nots"? 2012-01-10 Oneness requires no "nots". Serenity requires no "nots". Mindfulness requires no "nots". Bliss and peace require no "nots". Being in the here and now requires no "nots". 2012-01-09 Joy is having no "nots". Love is having no "nots". Charity is having no "nots". Acceptance is having no "nots". Forgiveness is having no "nots". 2012-01-08 Character is having simultaneous integrity for more than two principles at a time. Character is the principles you use to test acceptance of any thought, feeling, or action. Character is developed as you learn to adhere to certain principles based on life experience. Character is when you cannot be swayed by any one thought without testing it against several principles. Character is when more than one internal value states its case regarding any question, discussion, or dilemma. 2012-01-07 Desire is not the desired. Desire depends on not having. Without absence, there is no desire. The object of desire is the ideal, not the real. Love is not desire though all the world speaks of desire as love. 2012-01-06 Can you fail and not be a failure? Can you act stupid and not be stupid? Can you act odd and not be an oddball? Can you be rejected and not be a reject? Can you act inferior without being inferior? 2012-01-05 Thought as reality is false. Testing reality as thought fails. Reality testing with thought fails. Thought pointing to reality is functional. Thought can be a handle on reality, but never reality itself. 2012-01-04 People would rather defend their failing than find winning. People would rather defend their mistakes than seek correction. People would rather defend their foolishness than seek wisdom. People would rather defend their ignorance than find knowledge. People would rather defend their being stuck or trapped than find freedom. 2012-01-03 The only way to arrive is God. The only way to journey is God. Only God can find the path for you. Only God can keep you on the path. Only God can choose the path for you. 2012-01-02 The only way is God. The only method is God. The only practice is God. The only discipline is God. The only meditation is God. 2012-01-01 You think about self inside, but you are thinking about thoughts, not self. You think about self inside, but the self you think about is only a delusion. You think about self inside, but the self you think about is neither real nor right. You think about self inside, but you are imagining something that does not exist. You think about self inside, but the self you think about is only your ego, your Frankenstein monster created from the experiences and thoughts of others.
