Self is Safe |

"Don't regard what anyone says of you, for this, after all, is no concern of yours."--Epictetus, Enchiridion Self is never at risk. There is no open door in the back of your head that people can enter through to get to your self. Your self is safe from all people. Your self has never failed. Your self can never fail though your behavior can fail often. Your self can never be inferior or superior but only the same. Your self cannot be changed except by its creator and that is neither your nor other people. Self is not doing but being. Your self can never be either superior or inferior though your behavior usually is. Your self is untouchable by human beings. No one, no not even you, can make your self to increase or decrease in any manner. Your self cannot grow though your thoughts about it may increase a thousand fold. You cannot correct your self but only your behavior. Your thinking can be wrong but not your self. No self has ever been broken, wronged, destroyed, damaged, hurt, pressured, torn apart, crushed, or harmed in any way--but every ego has. No one can control, create, change, or recreate your self but God. CANNOT Your self cannot fail. Your self cannot age. Your self cannot grow. Your self cannot be at risk. Your self cannot be wrong. Your self cannot be inferior. Your self cannot be superior. Your self cannot change itself. Your self cannot be corrected. Your self cannot be something. Your self cannot be hurt by people. Your self cannot be gotten to by people. Your self cannot be known as something. Your self cannot be increased or expanded. Your self cannot be decreased or diminished. Your self cannot develop into something else.
