ADJUSTMENTS: Bikes are adjustable because everyone has a different style.

BALANCE: If you lean too much one way or the other, you will fall down.

BRAKES: It is best to put on the brakes before you get going too fast.

CLEAN: If you keep it clean then it runs faster, easier, and better.

COASTING: Taking a break is fun, but you have to earn it by climbing hills.

EXERCISE: Exercise can both be fun and get you someplace at the same time.

HILLS: Every hard climb leads to an easy descent.

HILLS: Hills are harder to ride, but it is the hills that make you stronger.

LEAN: Do not fight turns, lean into them.

LOOK OUT: It is a good idea to know where the people around you are going.

PACING: If you are going a long distance, it is best to pace yourself.

PEDAL: If you want to get somewhere, you have to start pedaling.

REFLECTORS: It is a good idea to let people see where you are going.

SHIFTING GEARS: One speed is NOT best for all occasions.

SPEED: If you want to go fast, you have to supply the energy.

WATER BOTTLE: There are only a few needs: air, water, food, rest.

WEIGHT: The more weight you carry, the more you have to work and the slower you can go.

"For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God."--I Peter 2:20
